Wellness & Resilience Advisory Board

The statewide, multiyear Trauma-Informed Care Task Force was created by the 2021 Hawaiʻi State Legislature with the passage of House Bill 1322 / Act 209, and ended in summer 2025. The task force transitioned to become the Advisory Board to the Office of Wellness and Resilience (known as the Wellness and Resilience Advisory Board), according to Act 87, which held its first meeting in October 2025. 

Scott Shimabukuro of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division in the Hawai‘i Department of Health serves as chair. All meetings are open to the public and are subject to Hawai‘i’s open meetings law, also known as Sunshine Law.
